I’m Alli, independent art educator and the pattern designer behind Stitchery & Co. Originally from Texas, I now split my time between coastal Southern California and small-town Southern Oregon with my best friend (aka husband) and daughter.

As a formally trained museum educator, I’m passionate about teaching learners of all ages how to look closely at the world around them for inspiration to DIY their own dream projects. You’ll find my value-packed crochet and embroidery patterns published under my brand Stitchery & Co., which features highly-detailed, recipe-style projects filled with step-by-step photo tutorials free from medium-specific jargon or presumptions of prior experience. When you stitch up one of my patterns, I’ll be there every step of the way, decoding the process and equipping you with the expertise needed to modify, perfect, and love your work.
