FAQ

  • What do your PDF patterns include?

Each of my PDF patterns is designed to be easy to read (size 12 font, black text, white background), with minimal jargon or abbreviations. I write as though I am teaching a good friend, so you'll find each pattern packed with tips to help you along the way! My patterns are always written in American English with US terms.

Crochet Patterns: The step-by-step photo tutorial is included after the written pattern; I recommend either printing out the entire pattern and placing the pages side by side so you can view the photos and text at the same time, or printing only the written pattern and referencing the photos on your device as needed. Unless otherwise specified in a listing, you should be familiar with basic crochet stitches (slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, etc.). I teach intermediate and advanced stitches using written explanations within the pattern and may link to external video tutorials. All crochet patterns include a detailed supply list and full instructions from start to finish.

Embroidery Patterns: The photo tutorial is embedded within the pattern directly, with close-up photos intended to help you see each section of the project more clearly. I teach all stitches used in a pattern at the beginning of each PDF; each stitch technique includes both a written explanation and illustrated tutorial. All embroidery patterns include a detailed supply list (including links to my preferred small businesses that sell my favorite hoops and fabrics!), a complete list of all DMC thread colors used in the design, a black and white traceable pattern, an illustrated color guide, and detailed instructions on how to begin and finish your hoop.

  • How are your patterns formatted?

No one enjoys squinting—I get it! Each of my PDF patterns is designed to be easy to read (size 12 font, black text, white background) and may be printed out or accessed on your device. Please note that you will need Adobe Acrobat on your device to open each PDF. Each listing clearly states the PDF pattern’s total page count.

  • How do I access my pattern?

It’s time dive in! Once your purchase is complete and payment has been confirmed, your files will be available for download in your Order Confirmation page. You will also automatically receive an order confirmation email, followed by an email containing a link to the file. This link will expire 24 hours after you purchased. If you click an expired link, I’ll automatically send a new link to the email address used for the initial purchase.
